Jackie van der Heyden is building her career around two of her favourite passions: horticulture and houses. She started out as a graduate of the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture, a hands-on program that developed her strong work ethic that has continued to assist her personally and professionally.
She found her niche in B2B sales for the ornamental greenhouse and nursery industry. It has given her experience working with a variety of personalities and she has learned the importance of preparedness and organization to ensure a smooth running sales transaction.
Jackie discovered her love for real estate by chance in August 2017 when she and husband Joe had the opportunity to purchase a neglected century home. They went for it and successfully renovated the house, turning it into a profitable income property. The project went so well that they decided to become licensed real estate professionals and enrolled in real estate classes together.
Jackie’s experience in sales, house construction and rental property management brings great value to her clients as well as the Dyer team.
