We at R. W. Dyer Realty want to wish all our clients and friends a Happy Canada Day!
This year so far has been a wild ride. Last year, none of us could have imagined the changes that were in store for our lives and our industry in 2020.
At home, we have been focusing more on our families. There has been a lot more Netflix and (sadly) no live sports. We have all done a lot of baking. We have worn masks when grocery shopping and washed our hands relentlessly.
At work, we have shifted our business online as much as possible and our team meetings and training sessions have gone virtual. Open houses have been cancelled and our annual team photo on the office porch has evolved into each of us standing 6 feet apart.
Perhaps most surprisingly with a worldwide pandemic in full swing, the real estate market has pressed on with average home prices in Waterloo Region rising to all time highs. More to come on this topic in our next Mid-Year Market Update post.
